About us

FRAM is an interdisciplinary academic center focusing on chemical mixtures.

The Center for Future Chemical Risk Assessment and Management strategies, FRAM, was founded on April 1, 2016 to enable a formalized collaboration between researchers in the field of chemical risk assessment and risk management in Gothenburg. FRAM works across traditional academic disciplines and in close collaboration with stakeholders from chemical regulation, chemical industry and civil society. FRAM is part of the University of Gothenburg's initiative on centres for Global Societal Challenges (UGOT Challenges).
